The Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 Low ‘White Comet Red’ is drawn from a bespoke AF1 collection that marked one of Virgil Abloh’s final projects with the historical fashion house. Assembled in Louis Vuitton’s production facility in Fiesso d’Artico, Italy, this pair showcases a tonal Monogram print throughout the upper, built with white calf leather and contrasting trompe-l’oeil canvas overlays in a bold crimson finish. In addition to a signature Swoosh outlined in tonal zigzag stitching, unique branding hits include ‘Louis Vuitton Air’ tongue tags and Virgil Abloh’s signature Helvetica text on the medial side. The designer’s playfully meta touches include ‘LACET’-branded laces and a redundant ‘AIR’ callout on the white rubber midsole.
